Ca-Sr

Ca-Sr (Calcium-Strontium) C.B. Alcock and V.P. Itkin The equilibrium phases of the Ca-Sr system are (1) the liquid, L; (2) the low- temperature, fcc continuous solid solution, (aCa,aSr); and (3) the high- temperature, bcc continuous solid solution, (bCa,bSr). The assessed phase diagram is based on review of the work of [56Smi], [58Sch], and [83Cha]. There is no exact information for the construction of boundaries between the two solid solutions, except for the temperatures of the phase transformations in the pure components. Therefore, these boundaries are shown as dashed lines between the transformation points for Ca at 443 C and Sr at 547 C [83Cha], with a width of 10 C. The uncertainty in the positions of the boundaries is about с30 C. 56Smi: J.F. Smith, O.N. Carlson, and R.W. Vest, J. Electrochem. Soc., 103(7), 409-413 (1956). 56Sch: J.C. Schottmiller, A.J.
