Cd-Pr (Cadmium-Praseodymium) K.A. Gschneidner, Jr. and F.W. Calderwood Although a complete phase diagram is not available for the Pr-Cd system, reported structural data indicate seven intermetallic phases. The assessed phase diagram is based on the experimental solubility data and differential thermal analysis of [66Joh] for the Cd-rich portion of the system (93 to 100 at.% Cd). The peritectic decomposition temperature of PrCd11 was reported to be 570 C where 3.5 at.% Pr is soluble in Cd. The eutectic temperature between Pr and PrCd is ~600 C. 66Joh: I. Johnson, K.E.
