Ce-Ho

Ce-Ho (Cerium-Holmium) K.A. Gschneidner, Jr. and F.W. Calderwood Lattice parameter studies have been conducted by [62Gsc]. [66Lun] reported that the composition range for the d phase lies between 40 and 55 at.% Ce, with 100% d phase existing at 55 at.% Ce. [66Jay] studied the effects of pressure and temperature (40 kbar, 450 C) on the structure of several rare-earth binary alloys. A Ce-55 at.% Ho alloy, which under ambient conditions has the Sm-type structure, transformed to the dcph structure. Editor's note: A likely form of the Ce-Ho phase diagram was provided by [ Moffatt] based on the information given above. 62Gsc: K.A. Gschneidner, Jr., R.O. Elliott, and M.Y.
