Cr-Na (Chromium-Sodium) M. Venkatraman and J.P. Neumann No comprehensive investigations of the Cr-Na system have been undertaken; therefore, only a schematic is shown as the assessed diagram. The mutual solid solubilities of Cr and Na are assumed to be very small. The compatibility of Cr with liquid alkali metals is of interest in nuclear technology. No information is available concerning the nature of the three-phase equilibria involving (Cr), (aNa), and (bNa) at approximately -237 C (~36 K); ( Cr), (bNa), and liquid Na at ~98 C (~371 K); or between (Cr), liquid Na, and Na vapor at 884 C (~1157 K).
