Dy-Y (Dysprosium-Yttrium) K.A. Gschneidner, Jr. and F.W. Calderwood The assessed Dy-Y phase diagram is based on the work of [67Mar], with the following exception. Comparison with the work of [73Spe] on Er-Y and related systems suggests that no minimum exists in the liquidus and solidus curves at 1330 C. There is a gradual nonlinear increase in the solidus and liquidus temperatures as the Y content of the alloys increases. A narrow two-phase region between the liquid and the bcc solid solution exists just below the liquidus line.
