Hg-Nb (Mercury-Niobium) C. Guminski [84Lep] determined the saturated amalgam concentration by the use of neutron activation analysis. They found 10-9 at.% Nb being dissolved in liquid Hg at 25 C. In resistivity measurements of (Hg) saturated with Nb at -40 C, [71Ale] found that the content of the latter is below 1 x 10-4 at.% Nb. [73Jan] determined by equilibration and XRD that undetectable amounts of Hg were dissolved in (Nb). No Hg-Nb intermetallic compounds were identified in the system. 71Ale: B.N. Aleksandrov and O.I.
