Lu-Zn (Lutetium-Zinc) Editor The Lu-Zn phase diagram was drawn by [Moffatt] based on a presumed similarity to the Er-Zn system and on information summarized in [70Bru]; no compounds of Zn with more than 50 at.% RE are known, and all known REZn and REZn2 compounds melt congruently. The polymorphic transformation temperature of Lu2Zn17 is unknown. In addition to the phases shown in the diagram, the existence of Lu6Zn23 was reported.- H.O. 65Ian: A. Iandelli and A. Palenzona, J.
