Mo-Sn (Molybdenum-Tin) L. Brewer and R.H. Lamoreaux The assessed Mo-Sn phase diagram was obtained by thermodynamic modeling of estimated thermodynamic data. The solubility data of [67All] were used to calculate the liquidus. Single crystals of MoSn2 have been obtained at 600 C. At 900 C, no MoSn2 remained, but X-ray powder patterns indicated a structure similar to U3Si2. It was not possible to distinguish between the compositions Mo2Sn3 and Mo3Sn2. At 900 C, traces of a third unidentified phase were also observed [67Bro]. [64Kil] prepared the Mo3Sn phase at temperatures above 1000 C and 35 kbar and found the phase boundary to have a slope of 30ш/kbar.
