Nb-Ta (Niobium-Tantalum) R. Krishnan, S.P. Garg, and N. Krishnamurthy The assessed Nb-Ta phase diagram shows complete miscibility of Ta and Nb in the solid state [46Buc]. The phase diagram constructed by [58Wil], which showed an unbroken series of solid solutions with no evidence of a solid-state transformation in any of the alloys, confirmed that of [57Rog] with a statement that the solidus and liquidus are separated by a maximum of 10 C. The calculated diagram is quite similar to the one experimentally determined by [58Wil], but it presents more reliable solidus and liquidus values. 46Buc: H.
