Nb-Te

Nb-Te (Niobium-Tellurium) Editor The Nb-Te phase diagram was constructed by [89Cha] based on the reported intermediate phases and a partial phase diagram (70 to 85 at.% Te) given by [ 72Smi]. [88Mis], who reported a substantially different phase diagram, found the peritectic formation temperature of NbTe4 at 750 C, whereas [72Smi] observed it at 465 C. NbTe2 exists in three polymorphic forms, but there are no compounds between NbTe2 and NbTe4 in the diagram of [88Mis]. Apparently, [ 88Mis] was unaware of [72Smi], and [89Cha] was unaware of [88Mis].
