Pr-Tl (Praseodymium-Thallium) S. Delfino, A. Saccone, A. Palenzona, and R. Ferro The assessed phase diagram for the Pr-Tl system is based on [81Del] and on [ 71Gri] for the range of 0 to 15 at.% Tl. The melting points of the pure metals and the transformation temperatures have been adjusted slightly to conform to the accepted values. Metallography results suggest a homogeneity range of about 1 at.% (7 to 8 at.% Tl for PrTl) for the intermediate phases, except for PrTl3. The maximum solid solubility of Tl in (bPr) is 9.0 с 0.2 at.% Tl at the 767 с 1 C eutectic temperature; the solubility in (aPr) is 2.5 с 0.2 at.% Tl at the 687 с 1 C eutectoid temperature. The solid solubility of Pr in (bTl) and ( aTl) is assumed to be negligible.
