Pu-V (Plutonium-Vanadium) D.E. Peterson and J.F. Smith The assessed Pu-V phase diagram is based on the work of [55Kon]. The system has a eutectic point at 0.75 at.% V and 625 C. The solid solubility of V in the (Pu) allotropes is negligibly small, as indicated by the absence of any effect on their transformation temperatures. The average solubility of V in liquid Pu, as determined by [67Bow], ranges from 1.02 с 0.05 at.% V at 700 C to a maximum of 4.46 с 0.09 at.% V at 1000 C. 55Kon: S.T.
