Co-O (Cobalt-Oxygen) Editor The Co-O phase diagram is redrawn from [Hansen], which is based on the L = (Co) + CoO eutectic temperature at 1451 C [51Asa] and the slope of the (Co) liquidus reported by [35Sey] and [51Asa]. The compounds existing in this system are polymorphic CoO, Co3O4, and Co2O3. The crystal structure data are from [Pearson3]. ZnS(wurtzite)-type and ZnS(sphalerite)-type CoO are not listed here, because they are impurity-stabilized oxides [62Red].-H.O. 35Sey: A.U. Seybolt and C.H. Mathewson, Trans.
