Gd-Zn (Gadolinium-Zinc) Editor The Gd-Zn phase diagram drawn by [Moffatt] was based on information summarized in [70Bru]; no compounds of Zn with more than 50 at.% RE are known and all known REZn and REZn2 compounds melt congruently. In addition to the phases shown in the phase diagram, the existence of Gd6Zn23 and GdZn5 was reported. The polymorphic transformation temperature of Gd2Zn17 is unknown.--H.O. 60Ian: A. Iandelli, Att.
