Ni-Pt (Nickel-Platinum) P. Nash and M.F. Singleton The assessed Ni-Pt phase diagram is essentially unchanged from the diagram given in [Hansen], because no new experimental data have been reported since its publication. The liquidus and solidus are based on a thermodynamic calculation from this work. The system exhibits a minimum in the liquidus and complete solid solubility at high temperatures. At low temperatures, two ordered phases appear at NiPt and Ni3Pt with critical temperatures of 645 and 580 C, respectively. The variation of Curie temperature with composition in the Ni-rich solid solution follows an approximately linear relationship. Published in Phase Diagrams of Binary Nickel Alloys, 1991 and Bull.
