Be-Yb (Beryllium-Ytterbium) K.A. Gschneidner, Jr. and F.W. Calderwood The assessed phase diagram for the Yb-Be system is based on the work of [60Lov] . One intermetallic compound was reported, YbBe13. It melts congruently at ~1900 C according to [75Buc]. The melting temperature of Be and the a = b transformation temperature have been adjusted to 1289 and 1270 C, respectively, to agree with the accepted values. 60Lov: B.
