Dy-Ti (Dysprosium-Titanium) Editor The Ti-Dy phase diagram is a simple monotectic type [60Bec]; no compounds form in this system [61Bae]. Because a miscibility gap in the liquid phase is observed in the Ti-Gd (atomic number 64) system and not in the Ti-Er ( atomic number 68) system, the range of the miscibility gap in the Ti-Dy ( atomic number 66) system is probably small.
