Ir-Pr

Ir-Pr (Iridium-Praseodymium) H. Okamoto The Pr-rich (88 to 100 at.% Pr) region of the Ir-Pr phase diagram is redrawn from [71Gri]. The remaining region was tentatively estimated by [Moffatt], who assumed similarity to the Ir-La and Ir-Ce systems. Six intermediate compounds were reported by [89Bla]. However, [73Olc] reported the existence of eight intermediate phases in the Ir-Pr system. Ir3Pr7 and IrPr3 are not shown in the assessed diagram. This disagreement has not been clarified. The ferromagnetic Curie temperature of Ir2Pr is 15 K [59Boz]. 59Boz: R.M. Bozorth, B.T. Matthias, H. Suhl, E. Corenzwit, and D.D. Davis, Phys. Rev., 115(6), 1595-1596 (1959). 59Com: V.B.
