Sn-Zn (Tin-Zinc) Z. Moser, J. Dutkiewicz, W. Gasior, and J. Salawa The Zn-Sn phase diagram is of the simple eutectic type. The equilibrium phases are (1) the liquid; (2) the tetragonal (Sn) terminal solid solution, with a maximum solubility of 0.6 at.% Zn at the eutectic temperature of 198.5 C; and (3) the cph (Zn) solid solution, with a maximum solubility of approximately 0. 039 at.% Sn. The assessed phase diagram is based primarily on the work of [ 1897Hey], [33Tam], [61Sch], and [81Vnu]. Amorphous thin films of Sn and Zn-Sn alloys containing up to 33 at.% Zn were obtained by quench condensation on quartz crystals at 4.2 K [74Buc]. 1897Hey: C.T. Heycock and F.H. Neville, J. Chem.
